Hey, that's something great to read first thing in the morning - congrats to the world there. Seems people's opinion DOES matter!

Good Morning.
It's only the first week of March but we noticed our chives, parsley and spring flowers are starting to peek out from the ground!

Same here! What sort of winter it was... total of 4 inches of snow, or even less.

The forum was down for financial reasons for nearly 2 weeks in January. I am not sure if Elyris came back after the service was restored near the end of January. I just hope everything is fine at her end.

Morning
Nice (had some spa days) but as usually waaaaaaay too short. And of course February/March ain't the best time in the year for a vacation, but I needed to spend the last vacation days from last year until end of March.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Here, the law was a bit more flexible. We could spend vacation days until the end of the year, for the year before. We USED to. Not sure what the law says now.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Well, to be honest, it was alright having a few days off. This time of the year usually thorws me off - I hate the cold and the lack of colours outside, so having some warm water and sauna was very welcome.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Zombie apocalypse is on, people!
I just came back from shopping. Even places like LIDL, which are usually well stocked, look strange. Aisles with fruits and vegetables look normal, aisles with hygienic products look normal (who needs to wash hands these days anyway, right?!), but aisles with toilet paper, bottled water, sugar, flour, oil and noodles look nearly empty.

This is getting better by the day. We have a state of emergency, officially declared.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Yeah, I hear you. I tried to do the unthinkable last Saturday: buy toilet-paper cause my current stock was getting low. Business as usual, you'd think... nope, there was not a single sheet around.
I'm sure there are people out there who won't have to buy a single sheet of tp again in their whole life
Same for the zucchini, eggplant and minced meat I wanted to put in a casserole on Sunday.
People are indeed preparing for zombie-apocalypse it seems. Me, in my parallel universe, actually try to live life as normal as possible. If tnose nutcases out there would just let me...
