Morning :)

Aaaand - summer went away again :what:

Uhm ... Schulung (how do say that in english?). My curent work makes me do weid things. It's going to be boring but maybe I might be able to go and buy some stuff (I know they have a lush here - weird as this town isn't bigger than Rostock, but there not a single one in Meck-Pomm) - I just hope they'll stick to their time schedule this time and don't let us sit there for two hours longer than anticipated, like last time.

Actually, I think that gloomy, rainy weather was perfect for a trip to Berg Frankenstien. :hee:

And its pouring rain here right now. Do you know what's great about rain in Canada? It's not SNOW. :yay:

The weather was nice over the weekend here too. On Saturday I was outside in a t-shirt. It was sunny and 15C so my son and I changed the spark plugs in the car. I can't wait to start working on the yard again, but its still too early. We have to wait a little longer because the butterflies and bees that winter under the brush and leaves haven't emerged yet.

@Elyris: I see. At least you get trainings, my last classroom training is like ages ago, we gotta do all of it online. Good luck with the time schedule and the trip to Lush.

@Nawm: Butterflies and bees are out here already, but we do have classical april weather. Ups and downs with temperature and sun, rain...
About Frankenstein: the gloom was nice, I could have done without the rain and the mud.

Evening - got lost in town while looking for the oh-so-famous cherry blossom. 1. this town is larger than I thought 2. cherry trees were nice, sure that, but a. it's not that spectacular and b. it's also and maybe mostly working in combination with the surrounding building structure. But it was a nice atmosphere.

Good Morning.

Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of Ato's and my Avatars being "mated" on Naviblue. As the years go by, it just seems sillier and sillier looking back on the shenanigans we were up to back then.

We're hoping to go back to Disney's Pandora next year to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

I still don't under stand people. Yesterday I felt like the only watcher in a weird zoo - exclusively for hairless bipedals. It's funny how you seem to meet the same handful of people over and over again - they all look so alike. It's fascinating. Their reactions, ways of thinking (if there are any) and 'feelings' (the hardest part for me - there don't seem to ba any similarities that go above superficialities between me and them) - it never stops baffling me (and may it be often becasue they seem so .... dumb, I don't know how to say it, but there are truly stupid people out there and even those that aren't often just don't think beyond what they either need for their jobs or their daily errands and surely not further than what seems comfortable - so usually not very far).
Truly the older I get the more I feel like a different species.

@Elyris: watch out for the appearance of tiger stripes and a tail then ;-)

@Nawm: I don't think our shenanigans were silly - or maybe they were, but they also were fun! I kinda miss 'em.

Afternoon

I am dead tired - this hotel bed is the wort ... it's like sleeping in an oven. I really dislike being that tired ... my brain stops working correctly.

Well - if I wanted to see 'romcomfun' I could go anywhere were there are people. I miss conversations (even the shenanigan-rich) that tickle my brainstem - life has become rather dull and boring (stressful, but boring). Being lonely sucks, but there's no real way around it.

I'll (hopefully) get home tomorrow (8,45 hours of train travel - yay :gotcha:).

Elyris stuck on a train and Kiy in the hospital?

@Elyris - Hopefully the train seats are more comfortable than the hotel was.
@Kiy - Hopefully your seat is more comfortable after your hospital visit.

Morning.

@Elyris That's one thing that I liked about travelling on the trains and buses in Europe - free wifi. We still don't really have wifi on most of the public trains and buses here yet.

Guess who's back home already [insert mile wide happy grin here]
Things went fine so far... now I'm on sick leave for at least two more weeks to heal. But it went much better than I hoped, so I'm a happy girl here right nao.

Morning... or something :)

I've slept for straight eleven hours that night - my body kinda needed it. And as much as at least two weeks of paid time off are nice, I'd rather skip it. Not being able to sit for months without the use of painkillers wasn't the most comry thing in the world. And this special surgery is just killing the symptoms. I'll have to have another one later to go down to the root of things. Not fun :-/

I would have been awfully annoying then on Thursday evening - being sooooo happy to leave the hospital. The sweet scent of freedom.... (I hate hospitals, I really do and being stuck in one sucks big time. So getting out: happy, happy, happy :-P )
