Well then - I wish you better weather than what is going on up here.

Renovation/moving/house-dyi is exhausting enough in and off itself but with so many people (who tend to not listen to what you explain over and over) it's mental competitive sport.

Lol, it has always been like that. The town, country, or even the continent doesn't matter. You have to be specific, very specific when making requests.

That reminds me, when someone I know was building a vacation home, he hired a lawyer, to make a contract in such way that every deviation from the agreement would incure penalties for the contractor, whether it is the deadline, measures of walls, doors etc, colors, angles, ANYTHING. They have specified the tolerance for each of the things and the contractor was legally obliged to follow it all to the last detail. it did cost some 20% more, but in the end the result was EXACTLY what the owner wanted.

As simple as that.

As always: A matter of money. If you got money you will get more, if you don't have money your life is shjt and will decrease further as time goes on.

It really was - looking like sunset all day long. Maybe it was this combination of that hurricane/storm that hit Ireland + the Sahara sand/dust + the smoke from the wildffires in Spian/Portugal - it surely looked the part.

The sun hid behind a high clouds, but usually the light hten is pale and on the cold side, but yesterday it was literally pink (visible on walls the sun fell on) - I cna say I never say anything like this before.

It was eerie but cool.

Nothing near along those here. It was mild, yes, but not warm.

Watched Blade Runner 2049 yesterday .... it was really really good. On the downside: The carpet on the place where I was sitting was rather ... sticky.

Also: The girl from my dancing course I went with never saw Avatar. She only had a glimpse in the first third or so when it came on Tv and she said it was kinda borign to her and she also didn't catch the start, so ....

Whoah, that girl missed out!

But of course on TV it's just not the same. You need to go to the theater, 3D, great sound... the whole package.

Ah, zesterday I went with my kids to watch Lego Ninjago movie in 3D. My only experience with 3D was previously with IMAX. This one was ordinary digital 3D... Not that it was bad, but the overall impression was not close to the one from IMAX. So, once Avatar 2 and sequels are out, I will have to take a train, even if the rest of the family is not interested :D
