Morning
Still that cold on top of my allergy. Seriously - that sucks. But I'm better today; still not totally fine, but at least I got to sleep.

Good evening, everyone
February was the first month in the past nearly 3 years that we (as a family) did not end up in debt but wish some surplus even... One round of drinks on my account, for everyone

Flighters drink?
Anyway ... another crappy birthday, I guess. At least I got off tomorrow and next week. (Did I mention that I already mixed up and baked a cake bottom this morning?

Ah, coffee... yes...
I typically feed on coffee with a lot of milk. One tea-spoon of Ness or other instant coffee, 2 tea-spoons of sugar, some hot water to dillute it, then add 0.5 to 0.75 l of cold milk, and I am good to go. Then I repeat it a couple of times a day while working. So, I do take 1-2 liters of coffee, but effectively it is around 3 or 4 cups of coffee. Now comes mid. february 2019. I had a sort of flu, not sure... I was feeling really sick. I checked my blood pressure and it was well over 165/120. WAY too high. And it was getting worse by the minute. I look at my kids, like, hey, they need me, I need to do something about it right now. Not having the time to go to the hospital, which would involve driving for 15 minutes which is unsafe while so sick, I had to borrow wife's meds, and ate a handful of garlic... Over the next 10 hours, it dropped bit by bit to 140/100... and now it is nearly normal 130/90 and below.

Good morning ... surprise of the day: the workman said they're going to be here today at 8am to drill holes in my doors (or at least that's what I wrote down in my calendar) - they just came and took the first door (shortly after 7am)

I was indeed very lcuky that despite me being dead-tired I decided to get up 15 mins earlier than I anticipated I had to (so I was already cleaned and dressed properly) .... and so was that guy (he likely would've been blinded or something).

Re: The ground level - in and out
Hello folks! It has been some time since I've visited. Its been long enough I had to change my avatar.
I hope everyone is hanging in okay. Its surprising to think how the time has passed, almost eight years now since I traveled to Canada for the meetup some of us had for instance. I may have some of you already but I added my FB link to my profile if anyone cares to friend me.
I'm sure we're all still looking forward to the next Avatar movie. I just wish it hadn't taken this long.
