Gee, I'm getting old. One evening spent at the cinema and getting home late and I'm tired as hell...

On a side note, R.I.P Stan Lee, you were the biggest hero out there!

I couldn't even get myself to watch the trailer ... I get that sometimes.
@Xa: Yeah - saw it somewhere. He got quite old though, didn't he. I also liked how he just 'naturally' strolled into practically every movie that he lay the groundwork for. It was always fun to wait for him.

Stan Lee: he got 95, that's really a great age to reach. Still - it's always sad to see someone go who has had so much influence on our culture. Hey, who knows, maybe he's gonna get himself some superpowers on the other side :-)

Re: The ground level - in and out
So... It is snowingoutside and I am sitting in a coworking space in Vienna. 7 hours drive from home to here, then next 4 hours of driving around town to do stuff, and now I am finally here. After work, at 2AM, I suppose to drive back home. That is not going to be fun.

Jeez - what? Why are you in Vienna? And 7 hour dirve? That's quite a lot.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Long story... Wife's Nigerian passport expired. To get a new one, she has to apply for it at the embassy, it costs a lot etc. So, we applied for a visa on her Serbian passport, as the cheaper alternative. For EUR 50 I got it the same day. Since they work from 10 to 12 with visas, I had to come before 9, I left the town here at 02:20. Eh now, I work 17:00 to 02:00, so I could not make it in time. Instead, a better option was to leave my stuff at the coworking place, hang around the town, get some food, and then work from 17:00. The bad thing is, I had to go back at 02:00 so I drove back for another 7+ hours. A total of 48 hours with no sleep... Wife said, this morning I fell asleep within 10 seconds

I didn't forget about you guys, I just have a health problem that keeps me from sitting on my rear end for a longer time, so I just wasn't at my PC the last days... back on my way to the couch again, just wanted to give a life sign.

@flighter: Whoa ..
wait ...
whaaaaat ?
This is crazy. I hope you make 5000 bucks or something a day - else this agony wouldn't make much sense at all.
@Kiy: Ouch ?!?
Hope it gets better soon
At least you're at home and can (hopefully) get some rest.
(This is why I really like my laptop .>_>)
Also ... just throwing in some smilies, as there's little movement and I sometimes miss those little mohawk-smurfs

Re: The ground level - in and out
Nah... Considering the average purchasing power in Serbia, I make quite a lot, approx. 3x the official and about 4x the real average salary. But I went to the embassy to sort things out for my wife, it was necessary to be present at work (I work from home so the location doesn't matter), and that was it. I am not a quitter or a real complainer
