Huh... I am attending one job interview this evening (2nd round), one tomorrow (2nd round) and one on Wednesday (1st round) + a one time job I can complete over the weekend or so.

2nd round: I had that too. They're narrowing down... at first they interview maybe like 20 people, filter out the 5 best, then interview those for a second time until they make their decision.
flighter: good luck for that. 2nd round means you're not out directly :)

@Xa: you could have kept those bugs to yourself... just four more days to vacation and of course I've got a sore throat, stuffed nose and slight coughing. Meh.

1st round is typically one round of HR interview. To inform you about the company, to get to know you and make sure you are not some psychopath who will kill everyone.

2nd round is typically closely related to the job you will be doing, this time conducted by the supervising manager, to find out if you can do the job, how well etc.

Some companies put either after or before the 2nd round a technical test (if it is a tech position).

Finally, you get an offer (or you don't get it), which includes the salary you will be given etc.

Why does it always happen that work goes crazy short before a vacation?

I blame gremlins that kept the server down for a few days 2 months ago. If you can, update it yourself. If not, please send to me and I will.

Ah, anyway, my interviews (not Kiy's) are so far so good. Just that the jerk I work for is not paying so I will soon be able to tell him "bye bye, mumu"

Good to know that that thing finally gets washed... I'm just not sure about that slice of pizza. Shouldn't that be green by now?

Good morning all.

Funny, I can see my avatar again, but no one else can? Maybe it has something to do with this strange cloak that some kid with glasses, who claimed he was a wizard, gave me. :geek-blush:

Ah the old bear trap that started it all, and Atokirina bandaging me up.
Appropriate that you would post that pic Bogo, as today (Friday) is the 6th anniversary of Atokirina moving to Canada to be with me.

I'll have to get her a box of chocolates or a cake for old times sake (and we're going out for dinner too). :)

Afternoon (finally) :)

Hey Xa - gave it on to Kiy then? .. Not very gentlemen-like >_>

Hi Bogo - good to see y.... *nearly steps into trap* a :geek:

Hey boss - ah, OK. Never had that, never heard about it before.

Hi Nawm - yup , you're invisible to me too. (That one should be very well grown up by now. You sure it wasn't one of the offsprings?)

Ah gosh ... we're at that nonsense again.

Tell me about it time flying by. Next time I blink it'll be naother ten years forward (and I ost likely still will be miserable and sad).

Hiw's the weekend going?

My weekend is going to be a hard working one... but this time private business. A new call center is opening and me and my younger brother will do the network cabling, electric cabling, set the desks, assemble and install computers... 25 systems I think. I am going in 30 minutes to examine it
