Re: The ground level - in and out
So, if you can/wish to share, how did it go? And, was it face to face, skype voice, video?

Re: The ground level - in and out
Good morning
Of course it was face to face (never had anything else) and it was in town. I only heard twice of a skype call thingdybob and in both cases it was with other countries. So ... yeah. Usually in germany you have to go there in person.
They had me been there for 11am. Had to wait for a while. Then one man came (didn't introduced himself). He took me ot one of those modern meeting rooms (which I always find rather didiculous, I know it's meant o look 'professional', but I just can't shake the feeling that this is still 80's juppy-ism with apple computers). We waited more. Then another (surely less 'happy') man stepped in. Also not introducing himself. They only said their occupation somewhere in betwenn, but not their names. Both were arguing shortly whether to wait for someone from the 'human resources' (this term always disgusts me) department, but then one of them said that the woman who usually does this isn't even there today, so they just started.
The usual nonsense ..... give us a short walk through your life (work-wise) .... describe yourself .... how did you find us ... why did you decided to go for this job ..... and so on.
And they asked and asked the smaller less friendly man (the other seemed more nice and mellow) always cutting the taller mans (the one whom I met first) word of and things got a bit messy due to that. They said they keep askign me as they try to find out what 'my drive' is.
I tell you: grown ups nowadays mostly seem to be weird idiots.
How I found themß Someone told me about the company, I googled them and looked at open jobs.
Why I applied? The position is open, it's here in town, has to do loosely with what I studied, seems doable and also to give enough money to pay the rent.
The fricking hell are they thinking why someone applies for a job? in 99% of all cases it's to make a living somehow ans surely not bacause it's always been your most precious dream to do that.
It was ridiculous.

Morning
Yeah - I was wondering too. Maybe she has a few days off and went on holiday. The forum was down a few days ago and after that I didn't saw her around again. Did anyone catch her on the (very) old NB facebook site or something? I don't play 'social media'.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Good morning.
What, Kiy is missing? I'll get Atokirina to Facebook message her today to try to see what's up.
Elyris, have you and Kiy heard about the AvatarMeet in Cologne? Apparently they will be seeing Cirque du Soliel - Toruk and having a special private screening of a 4K Exclusive Edition of Avatar that runs 3 hours and 50 minutes!
I'm thinking that the only way that screening is possible is either a typo that should have read 2 hours and 50 min, or else Lightstorm finished rendering the deleted scenes and cut them into the movie!
We were hoping to go to the Vancouver, Canada meetup, but this makes me want to go to the one in Germany instead, although Atokirina wants to see more of Canada.

*sneaks in*
Ummmmm.... afternoon...
I see you guys already started to prepare for rescue missions... not necessary, I've just been a bit busy and distracted those last weeks. Then NB went down, the business stayed on... whatever, here I am, all safe and sound
Oh - and I saw the description of that job interview... gee, yes, those questions are just so stupid...

Hello!
Well, good news is that we'll have a lot of compost for the garden! Bad news is that I found this box with the text saying "Elyris personal stuff - DO NOT TUCH!" at the bottom of the pile... *hands over box to Elyris*
Im gonna run now

Do we really wish to find out? Maybe the palulukan ate something wierd, making its poop into an interdimensional gateway to another universe where Elyris had such a box that ended up in our universe!

Back from another job interview (a less awkward one this time).
No, no we don't want to. And what's with that fixation on bodily disposals?

We can learn so much from poop. It's the main thing that we learned what our ancestors was eating thousands of years ago! I'm telling you, poop is some serious sh*t!
