Rewon lefpom (Good Morning!)

I finally posted a few pics from Pandora - The World of Avatar in the "RE: Disney's Avatar Land" thread since I couldn't find an option to create a new thread. I'll find a few more good ones, especially some night shots, and add them later.

Good morning.

Already finished at work, so I guess I'll go home, get some rack, and maybe post some more pictures later today.

Afternoon *crosses arms to an x* :)

That was worthwhile.

Random observations:

Pciked up my mom and called her earlier to tell and watch the trailer in english at least once to get a feeling how this sounds (because by all the great jibblies everyone - except Killmonger - sounded really really white ins the dub), when I asked her how she liked she said "I forgot." me "I called you like 2 hours ago, how can you forget so fast?" she: "I didn't forgot to watch the trailer, I forgot the name of the movie." me: :what:

After coming out someone had parked next my car in a way that I needed to get to the driver seat using the co-drivers side.

Not much later I said "You know - I had the same with Avatar. As soon as you step out of the cinema everyone looks so pale. I even had this when coming back from Taize back in the days and from - what 200 people around - there were like maybe 8 dark skinned fellas. You get home - everyones really pale." mom: "Yeah, I know. I also never find it weird to see that on the screen or any other way. It just never botherd me."

You also can't buy any clothes that even come anywhere near that sass here (or in this country).

Note: When a mercenary after the job ended says "Don't worry about the money." all of your red alert lamps should go on overdrive.

Good morning.

Hmm, I'm trying to figure out what movie you are talking about Elyris. The name Killmonger makes me think action/superhero movie, and the talk about everyone outside the theatre looking pale... are you talking about Black Panther? But, there weren't any mercenaries in that movie, were there?

Oh wait! I just re-read your message. *crosses arms to an X*
Wonder Woman?
I only guessed that because I watched Justice League with my kids last night (which wasn't bad at all compared to what I was expecting after all of the fan and critic backlash). I haven't seen Wonder Woman yet, but I wish I had seen it before seeing Justice League because they make references to things from that movie that the kids had to explain to me (their mom took them to see it). Going to have to watch WW after Atokirina gets back from the Netherland.

Of course I was talking about Black Panther.

And as far as I read it Killmonger worked on own account for Klaue at one point- so in this way he was a mercenary.

Annoyance #1: Since days now youtube suggests a tarantula channel for me. Why? Why, youtube? I am arachnophobic and never ever watched anything even remotely about spiders.

Annoyance #2: For reasons still unknown for me my right eye seems to be not working right this morning (it sees double). This is really really bothering me.

@Elyris: Of course you're talking about Black Panther, I knew right away. Plus - we've been talking about this movie just a while ago.
And yeah, the audience looked kinda pale once the room lit up again, true that. Plus, I know now why white people planning an ambush paint their face dark or wear dark masks. In that first ambush scene I just sat there and could see.. nothing. Dark dressed people with dark faces in the dark night and little light - super-effective, but I was like "I hope that ain't essential for the main plot cause I missed like 80% of it"

Stephen Hawking: Yeah, heard that too - a great loss, but heck: That guy kicked dead right in the txim for almost 50 years now - that's what I call badass.
RIP, Stephen!

@Kiy: Yeah - our first color TV worked for many years, but the picture darkened so much over time that every night scene really played in the darkness - you could see next to nothing.

Waht was also fun: mom and I were all alone in that big cinema. It was basically a private veiwing (and we even gt to sit on some of those new seats they installed).

@Xa: Hi

Hmm - it's weird. Oyu know that guy should be really dead already but somehow he kept on living. And then all of a sudden he dies. It's always abit shaking and surprising.

On another note: I finally got a telephone. Now let's jsut hope it'll work (and I figure out how to use it fully.)

Oh, right, Black Panther. Killmonger was the guy who challenged Black Panther to be king, right? And who was Klaue? Maybe the names are translated differently in German. It was a few weeks ago when I saw it and I'm not great with remembering names or faces. For instance, if there is more than one guy in a movie with a beard, I generally can't tell them apart unless they have very different coloured beards. Game of Thrones used to drive me nuts because most of the guys had beards.

I had a screening of Avatar back when it was still in the IMAX theatres where I was the only person in the theater (it was a weekday afternoon - one of the benefits of working a midnight shift). It was amazing.

And yes, what a loss with Stephen Hawking passing He probably outlived all of the doctors that gave him only 2 years to live when he was first diagnosed. I tried reading one of his books once. I've never felt so dumb. Once of the greatest minds of all human kind (his, not mine). :idiotic:

Nawm - Klaue is the exact german translation of the word Claw and as far as I saw so far it seems to be also the actual way his name is written. It's Andy Serkis' character (and so refreshing to watch, but then again this whole movie was so lit I can't tell ya).

You got problems tellign people apart on suhc a level ? :omgg: You seem to be lucky enough to not have many male hipsters around you then (or vegan scientists for that matter  )

Dunno - never read any of his books at all. Was it any good?
