Re: The ground level - in and out
Afternoon
Barely, very barely
I had to get loud as I am really sick and tired of the ignorance that is thrown at me and all the subconscious hypocrisy.
I am at my home now - hopefully I can get some rest.

Moin
Not wrong - the parking lot at my flat has only 'visitor' parking spots free - and you can only park for three hours at a time there. So I have to rush down 4 floors every three hours to put up the new time on my parking clock. But I was quite sick Thursday night, so I didn't manage to do so in the evening. And in the morning I was 10 minutes too late, so they took my car.
And now chrismas ..... I think I'll take two painkillers with a glass of liquor and hope I won't feel much for about two to three hours or there'll be roadkill this year as there's only so many years one with a functioning self can endure.

Re: The ground level - in and out
I hope you made it through that family ordeal....
Had everyone here tonight and just everyone left, the dishwasher is running and I'll take a bit of peaceful time now.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you

Re: The ground level - in and out
Another day with the family and my stupid racist slut of an aunt.
But of course .... it's always me who's the dirty one, the impertinent, ungrateful one who's the disturbance - not even able to change what I think and feel to match other peoples expectations.
I. Hate. Holidays.

Re: The ground level - in and out
And why would anyone adjust his way of life to match someone else's expectations, as long as his/her life is nothing to be ashamed of?!
As for the "racist" part... https://www.ancestry.com/dna/ would make some people confuzzled...
We moved to this place nearly 3 months ago. So far, there were 2 cases of open racism. The last one at the bus. Wife was returning home with kids from school. On the next bus stop, some teenagers entered and right away started with (in Serbian language) "Niggers, what are they doing here". They were that loud that on the next bus stop the driver, an elderly man, stopped the bus and kicked them out. I am at the same happy and sad I was not there because it certainly would not end that peacefuly. I don't think I would be able to resist. But then, what would happen when I am not there? Here, if an offender is under 14, police can't touch them, and police rarely goes to the parents. And even if they do, such parents don't care much.
Some forced labor is really a nice solution. First offence, one week. Second offence, 3 weeks, 3rd offence, 2 months... so let's see who is more stubborn

Re: The ground level - in and out
Home (at my moms, actually) again.
*sigh*
Eh ... you don#t know my grandma and her manipulative control-freak nonsense.
I think my aunt is mostly stupid, but that doesn't make it better.
I think the most weird thing someone ever yelled at me with the goal of harassing was 'ey du Türkin!' - translating loosely to 'oi you turkish' ... I actually burst into laughter.
Then again I've also been spit at at school and people threw risps of berries at my head while I was passing by with my bicycle, so ... ... yeah...
Now I am trying to relax a little (work starts on January 2nd at 6am again).
